CathVision, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based medical device company, closed a multi-million venture funding.
Backers included VF Venture and Borean Innovation.
The investment is directed at developing and market the company’s electrophysiology (EP) recording system for treating cardiac arrhythmia.
Led by CEO Mads Emil Matthiesen, CathVision develops a low-noise electrophysiology recording system to guide medical professionals in cardiac ablation procedures. The company is working with international physicians and electrophysiologists to test and market its system.
Incorporated in 2013, CathVision previously received funding from Confederation of Danish Industry, Nordea Entrepreneurship Fund, The Market Development Fund and Innovation Fund Denmark, in addition to Borean Innovation and VF Venture.
