Bessemer Venture Partners Promotes Andrew Hedin to Vice President

Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), a $4 billion global venture capital firm investing in consumer, enterprise, and healthcare technology companies, has promoted Andrew Hedin to Vice President.

Hedin joined BVP in 2015 by way of F-Prime Capital, Fidelity’s healthcare-focused venture capital fund. During his time at BVP, he’s invested in or played a significant role in portfolio companies that include AccuVein, Bright Health, Docent Health, Fractyl and Rock Health, among others.
In his new role, Hedin will continue to focus on early stage investing in healthcare technology, healthcare services, biotech and medtech companies.

He started his career at Leerink Partners, a boutique healthcare firm where he focused on growth strategies for biotech, medical device and pharmaceutical companies.

Hedin also worked with Health Essentials, a healthcare services company focused on providing post-acute and coordinated care to the frail and elderly, and sits on the steering committee for the New England Venture Network, the largest group of young venture capitalists in the New England area.
