BentoBox Raises $4.8M in Series A Funding

BentoBox, a New York-based platform for restaurants to build their websites, raised $4.8m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Bullpen Capital with participation from Jason Finger, Paul Appelbaum, RiverPark Ventures, Clark Valberg, Armory Square Ventures, Female Founders Fund, Freshsource Capital and Golden Seeds.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand sales and marketing efforts and develop new tools.

Led by Krystle Mobayeni, Founder & CEO, and BentoBox provides restaurant owners with a platform to manage mobile-first websites, marketing and operations and also includes features for adding reservations capabilities, integrating online ordering, electronic and plastic gift cards, lead forms for private events, lead forms for catering, promote ticketed events as well as sell merchandise, cookbooks & tickets.
