Ada Support Raises $2.5M in Funding

Ada Support, a Toronto, CA-based automated chat platform, raised $2.5m in funding.

The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners with participation from Version One Ventures.

The company will use the funds to grow its business and further product development.

Led by Mike Murchison and David Hariri, Ada Support creates tools for customer support teams to offer automated service. Its chatbot creation platform is powered by a proprietary machine learning engine that reduces support volume, empowers customers to find answers on their own and automatically learns how to better serve customers in the future. The company leverages proprietary AI technology to provide automated responses to inbound customer support requests, reducing the time spent on repetitive questions by 70 percent. This allows customers to receive answers to many of their questions much quicker than with human-staffed customer support, while also receiving support 24/7.
