Youmiam, a Paris, France-based cooking app startup, raised €1.1m in funding.
Backers included Maslow Capital Partners and M6.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its 18/34 community growth, as well as internationalization and monetization efforts.
Launched in 2014 by Théophile Royer, CEO, Youmiam is an iOS and Android daily cooking app for consumers and a native advertising solution that lets brands promote sponsored recipes for specific targets. Brands can get an official account on Youmiam to convert their recipes into visual, mobile-friendly, shareable content, define along with Youmiam user targeting and food territories in order to start boosting it and generate thousands of interactions, increase awareness and build an engaged connected audience.
Youmiam is already used by half a million millennials and such brands ad Nestlè, Nutella, Galbani, Nescafè.
