Lithium Technologies, Inc., a provider of cloud-based social media management and online community solutions, is to be acquired by Vista Equity Partners, a private equity firm focused on investments in software, data and technology-enabled businesses.
The terms of the transaction – expected to close within 30-45 days, subject to customary closing conditions – were not disclosed.
Led by Rob Tarkoff, President and CEO, Lithium provides a platform that enables brands to manage multiple digital touchpoints, facilitate conversations, and drive smart decisions through data – connecting customers, content and conversations at the right digital moment.
The company, which delivers digital customer experiences at scale for large brands including Airbnb, AT&T and Sephora, will maintain its headquarters in San Francisco and continue to operate business as usual.
