Rinse, a San Francisco, CA-based dry cleaning and laundry service, secured $14m in Series B funding.
The round, which brings its total raised to nearly $24m, was led by Partech Ventures with participation from Javelin Ventures, Arena Ventures, Accelerator Ventures and Structure Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Nicolas El Baze from Partech Ventures joined Rinse’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate hiring across its current markets in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Washington, DC, and expansion to several new markets, including Chicago, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Seattle, Miami, San Diego, Denver, and New York.
Founded by Ajay Prakash and James Joun, Rinse offers pickup and delivery for customers’ dry cleaning and laundry needs. Its services include Dry Cleaning, Launder & Press, Wash & Fold, Hang Dry, Repairs, Leather Cleaning, and it takes Clothing Donations.
