Phemi Closes $10M Venture Capital Financing

Phemi, a Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada-based company delivering big data solutions with built-in privacy, governance, and enterprise-grade management, raised a $10m venture capital funding.

Backers included Quark Venture Inc. and GF Securities, which made the investment via the Global Health Sciences Fund, and existing investors CTI Life Sciences Fund (CTI), BDC Capital Healthcare Venture Fund, and Yaletown Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to to enhance R&D efforts and expand commercialization efforts through expanded sales and marketing activities and outreach into emerging vertical markets.

Led by Paul Terry, CEO, Phemi provides data-driven companies with solutions to surface and share data without compromising privacy allowing them to focus on deriving insights to drive operational efficiencies, accelerate innovation and lower costs.
