MyTutor Raises £3m in Funding

MyTutor, a UK-based digital tutoring platform, raised £3m in funding.

The round was led by Mobeus Equity Partners with participation from angel investors Clive Cowdery (Resolution) and Thomas Hoegh (Arts Alliance). Amit Hindocha of Mobeus will join the board.

The company intends to use the funds to scale its presence in the private tutoring market and further expand into the school and university markets.

Founded in 2013 by Bertie Hubbard (CEO), Robert Grabiner (COO), and James Grant (CCO), MyTutor connects school pupils seeking private one-on-one tuition to high-performing university students, who in turn receive an income.
The company is also starting to develop a meaningful presence in the schools’ market, and has partnered with over 70 UK schools and universities.
