First Analysis, a Chicago, IL-based venture capital firm, is seeking to raise $115m for its twelfth fund.
Per an SEC filing, First Analysis Fund XII, L.P. has not raised funds, yet.
Led by Lawrence Berlin, Clement Erbmann, David Gearhart, Corey Greendale, James Macdonald, Tracy Marshbanks, Joseph Munda, Oliver Nicklin, Steven Schwartz, Daniel Smereczynski, Howard Smith and Frank Sparacino, First Analysis focuses on investing in technology/software, healthcare, and environmental technology established companies across the United States. Beyond capital, it helps companies become profitable leaders in large markets, by working closely with management in areas including strategy, recruitment, sales and marketing, and corporate development.
The firm invests $3-10m as lead investor or as a syndicate partner.
