Envenio, a Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada-based provider of a cloud-hosted, on-demand computational fluid dynamics (CFD) platform, secured $1.3m in equity funding.
Backers included Celtic House Venture Partners, Green Century Investments and New Brunswick Investment Foundation.
The company will use the funds to grow and strengthen the sales and engineering teams.
Led by Ian McLeod, CEO, and Scott Walton, VP, Envenio provides EXN/Aero, a cloud-based, on-demand computational fluid dynamics (CFD) platform, which includes a meshing tool, the solver, a post-processing tool, and plenty of storage for their files. This enables engineers to assemble inexpensive supercomputing systems and boost CFD solution speed using the platform’s parallel computing design.
