Cabin Raises Over $3M in Seed Funding

Cabin, a San Francisco, CA-based hospitality transportation company, secured $3.3m in seed funding.

The round was led by Founders Fund’s FF Angel with participation from SV Angel, Floodgate, Box Group, Brainchild Holdings, Justin Rosenstein, StartX, FJ Labs, and 1517 Fund.

The company will use the funds to scale operations both on a regional and national level.

Initially run as a pilot called SleepBus in early 2016 and led by Tom Currier, CEO, Cabin is a hospitality transportation company on a mission to address America’s “500 mile problem,” in which regional travel up to 500 miles from home requires sacrificing an entire day, forcing people to take fewer trips without even knowing it. By consolidating both transportation and accommodation into a high level experience, Cabin enables people to travel in a fleet of designed private cabins and luxurious, snooze-inducing amenities.
