Auth0 Raises $30M in Series C Funding

Auth0, a Bellevue, Wash.-based Identity as a Service platform, raised $30m in Series C financing.

The round was led by late-stage investor Meritech Capital Partners with participation from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Trinity Ventures, and K9 Ventures, as well as NTT DOCOMO Ventures and Telstra Ventures. George Bischof, Managing Director at Meritech Capital Partners, joined Auth0’s Board of Directors, in conjunction with the funding.

The company, which has raised over $54 million to date, will use the funds to further expand its geographic presence and to accelerate the growth of its identity platform with an increased subscriber and talent acquisition focus.

Led by Jon Gelsey, CEO, Auth0 is a SaaS-based enterprise-grade identity platform that provides companies with an authentication service for web, mobile, IoT and internal applications and APIs well as identity management for employees, customers and partners.
The company, which has added over 1,200 customers during last year, has a European HQ in London, a South American HQ in Buenos Aires and will open an office in Sydney soon.
