Arx Defence, an Edinburgh, Scotland, UK-based provider of a maritime security platform, raised a Series A funding round.
Dreamlab Finance made the investment. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The funds secured will be used to expand adoption of its products and the roll out of its innovative container temperature tracking system.
Led by CEO Josh Hutchinson, Arx Defence designs and manufactures maritime security and asset protection products, including anti-piracy and man overboard devices. The company offers:
– physical anti-piracy barriers have been specifically designed to prevent pirates from being able to board cargo ships at sea; and
– a container temperature tracking system to container and reefer cargo shipping companies.
