Updox Raises $12.7M in series B Equity Funding

Updox, a Dublin, OH-based provider of care coordination and healthcare connectivity solutions, raised $12.7m in series B equity funding.

The round was led by TT Capital Partners with participation from Tamarind Hill and existing investor Rev1 Ventures.

The company will use the funds to expand its reach, hire new people and continue to develop the platform.

Led by Michael Morgan, CEO, Updox provides a healthcare care coordination solution integrated with more than 70 electronic health records (EHR) and serving more than 250,000 users and 60 million patients.
Through an extensive Direct messaging network and platform of apps, Updox connects various healthcare providers, including physicians, patients, payers, pharmacies, labs and healthcare partners. Once part of the network, users or partners can access a full suite of applications including secure messaging, patient portal, appointment scheduling & reminders, credit card payments, and health alerts.

Updox counts more than 40,000 physicians and 60 million patients on its communications platform.
