Falcon Computing Solutions, a Santa Clara, CA-based provider of acceleration technology and solutions for big-data applications, closed $8M in financing.
The round was led by Intel Capital with participation from previous investors Baidu Ventures and Clear Ventures, as well as SV Tech Ventures and Sierra Ventures.
The company, which has raised over $10M in total funding, intends to use the capital to continue building its team to productize its technology and build solutions across multiple vertical markets.
Founded in 2014 and led by CEO Bradley Howe, Falcon Computing Solutions and provides scalable acceleration solutions to big-data applications. Its products include compile and runtime tools and libraries that span multiple vertical markets including Genomics Sequencing, Machine Learning, Autonomous Driving, and Computer and Medical Imaging.
The company also has offices in Los Angeles and Beijing.
