CrowdJustice Raises $2M in Seed Funding

CrowdJustice, a London/NYC-based legal crowdfunding platform, secured $2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Venrock and First Round Capital with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners and Kindred Capital.

The funds will be used to expand the model into the US, from the UK.

Led by Julia Salasky, CEO/Founder, CrowdJustice operates a platform for donation-based litigation crowdfunding – enabling ordinary people to access the law and democratizing participation in legal issues.
CrowdJustice has seen hundreds of cases raise over $3M in legal costs, including Supreme Court cases and a “people’s challenge” to Brexit in the UK that won in the Supreme Court, in the UK, where it originally launched in 2015.
