Claranet, a London, UK-based managed hosting group, received an £80m minority equity and preferred equity investment.
Tikehau Capital (Paris:TKO) is to invest in Claranet alongside existing shareholders.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its European presence.
Founded in 1996, Claranet is an independent managed services provider (MSP) which delivers its integrated hosting, networks and communications managed services, as well as support and 24×7 services to over 6,000 customers across the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands. The company, which has recently entered Brazil, has over 1,300 employees.
Claranet has annualized revenues of circa £220m.
