CIVC Partners Closes Private Equity Fund, at $400M

CIVC Partners, a Chicago, IL-based private equity firm, closed its latest fund, at $400m.

CIVC Partners Fund V, LP, received backing from a diverse group of existing and new investors including pension programs, university endowments, foundations, family offices, and financial institutions located across the US, Europe, and Asia.

Fund V will continue CIVC Partners’ strategy of making buyout and growth equity investments, predominantly within the business services and financial services sectors, in the lower middle market.

Led by John Compall, Dan Helle, Chris Perry, Scott Schwartz, Marcus Wedner, J.D. Wright and Keith Yamada, CIVC Partners invests in high growth middle market companies in the business services and financial services sectors.
Since 1989, the team has invested more than $1.5 billion in 60 platform companies.
