Blue Table Launches Innovation Program Focused on Health and Insurance Startups

International healthcare group Bupa has launched a new innovation program via the Bupa Customer Lab.

Blue Table is a 10-week program that aims to give teams the opportunity to to pilot their ideas and grow their business inside a global health and care company, as well as make a positive impact on Bupa’s customers worldwide.

The program will be focused on some of Bupa’s key business areas as they are looking for the best ideas and innovations to tackle key customer challenges in:
– health insurance, seeking innovations to make insurance more accessible and flexible to all who need it,
– health and care experiences, seeking innovations to help people to navigate their health, care and wellbeing to ensure they receive the best experience and outcomes, and
– wellbeing change, seeking innovations to support people in taking ownership of their own health whilst making the best decisions for themselves and their families.
It is also looking for other solutions to improve people’s lives in terms of new ways of thinking about healthcare and insurance that can have a real impact on Bupa’s customers.

Successful candidates will be have access to space in central London offices, mentored by senior Bupa business leaders and tech experts, and have the opportunity to work alongside them to develop their ideas and business.
Innovation specialist and technology investment fund L Marks will offer potential investment opportunities.

Interested teams can apply to the program here within June, 15, 2017.
On July, 10, 2017, in a dedicated pitch day, shortlisted teams will be invited to present to Bupa’s senior team for a place on the program. On September, 04, 2017, the accelerator will start in Bupa’s HQ, in central London.
The Demo day will take place on November, 13, 2017.
