The Public House of Art Raises €1.5M in Funding

The Public House of Art, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based art platform, raised €1.5m in funding.

Q2Q Capital made the investment.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the growth strategy and international expansion for its art platform.

Led by Sid Sand (Founder and CEO) and Maarten Bitter (CMO), former CMO of TravelBird, The Public House of Art is a new platform that collaborates with international artists to curate bi-annual, thematic exhibitions, with the aim of eliminating the academic barrier that often surrounds art.
In the past 18 months, the company has sold more than 3,000 works, which are offered in four sizes (House, Villa, Mansion and Castle) with prices ranging from € 100 for the smallest size to € 2,000 for the largest.
