RotoQL, a New York—based sports data and analytics company, raised $1.2M in seed funding.
The round was led by Boston Seed Capital, Jason Robins (Founder and CEO of DraftKings), RotoQL founder Saahil Sud, Tim McSweene, Mark Mariani, Paul Beattie, and Ralph Topping.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its growth with essential tools for consumers in Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS), as well as to build and market a similar tool for season long fantasy.
RotoQL provides tools and analytics to the fantasy sports community including software complete with predictive analytics, data and workflow tools to users competing on DraftKings and FanDuel, the two leading daily fantasy sports (DFS) sites.
