Remesh Raises $2.25M in Seed Funding

Remesh, a NYC-based market research software company, closed its $2.25m seed funding round.

The round, which brought total funding to $3.85m, was led by LionBird Ventures, with participation from Reimagine Holdings Group as well as individual investors.

The company intends to use the funds to further develop its artificial intelligence technology, bolster its client service and expand its reach in the market.

Founded in 2014 by Andrew Konya, CEO, Remesh leverages AI to enable groups to give and receive feedback. Applicable to a variety of industries, primarily market research and human resources, the company’s tool uses artificial intelligence to cull hundreds of answers into one single representative answer instantly, then generates interactive charts of expansive data sets that describe the group’s answers to enable conversation leaders to obtain actionable insights in a chat-style format.
The company, a graduate of the Barclays’ Techstars Accelerator, had raised $1.6m in pre-seed funding to date from Techstars, and several VC firms and angel investors.
