Random Forest Capital Raises $1.75m in Seed Funding

Random Forest Capital, a San Francisco, CA-based AI asset management company that provides intelligent solution for sophisticated investors, raised $1.75m in seed funding.

The round was led by a group of angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to build out its full stack software and machine learning algorithms and hire new people.

Led by Kevin Farrelly, chief operating officer, general partner, and co-founder, Austin Trombley, chief technology officer and co-founder, Julie Choi, Ph.D., chief risk officer, and Carl Siemon, Ph.D., data scientist, Random Forest Capital provides platform-agnostic software that incorporates a variety of machine learning algorithms and APIs for data collection to help institutional investors find the right opportunities in consumer, residential, and commercial credit.
The company is launching its first fund in May.
