Pluto VR Raises $13.9M in Series A Funding

According to GeekWire, Pluto VR, a Seattle, WA-based virtual reality communication startup, raised $13.9m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Maveron with participation from Madrona Venture Group and Trilogy Equity Partners.

The company plans to use the funds to continue to conduct its R&D activities.

Co-founded by Jonathan Geibel, Forest Gibson, Jared Cheshier and John Vechey, Pluto VR leverages VR and AR to develop tools for people to communicate, collaborate, and connect with anyone anywhere, as if they were together in person.
