MFour Mobile Research Raises $5M in Funding

MFour Mobile Research, an Irvine, Calif.-based mobile technology and consumer research company, raised $5m in funding.

Kayne NewRoad Ventures Fund made the new investment.

The company will use the funds to to scale technology and add staff to its Labs & Engineering, Operations and Sales departments.

Led by Chris St. Hilaire, co-founder and CEO, MFour provides an all-mobile, do-it-yourself (DIY) survey platform which gives consumer insights professionals the opportunity to design, field and analyze their own surveys. With mobile DIY, users can locate shoppers and send them push notifications at the moment they’re making their buying decisions.

The company’s Surveys On the Go® app, which uses GPS technology, fingerprint validation, multimedia capture, and geovalidation, gives researchers access to more than 1,000,000 active panelists. Brands can use location-capturing technology to reach shoppers in real time and connect with a demographically diverse panel with full representation of Millennials, Hispanics, and African Americans.
