Doc Halo Raises $11M in Funding

Doc Halo, a Cincinnati, OH-based developer of a real-time clinical communication platform, raised $11m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures with participation from Refinery Ventures.

The company intends to use funds to accelerate growth and expand functionality of its healthcare communication technology.

Led by Jose Barreau, MD, CEO and co-founder, Doc Halo provides a clinical communication platform for health systems to communicate and coordinate care by providing HIPAA-compliant technology for physicians, nurses and staff. In addition to secure texting and VoIP calling, the platform also includes a suite of tools to improve clinical workflow, such as schedule management, pager replacement, and critical lab integration.
