Cava Grill, a Washington, D.C.-based Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant chain, raised $30m in funding.
Backers included Revolution Growth, SWaN & Legend Venture Partners and The Invus Group.
The company will use the funds to expand operations.
Founded in 2006 by Ike Grigoropoulos, Ted Xenohristos, and Dimitri Moshovitis and CEO led by Brett Schulman, Cava operates fast casual restaurants and a prepared food wholesale business based on its Mediterranean menu.
It has several locations in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, NY, NJ, and California.
