Branch Raises $60m in Series C Funding

Branch, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based linking infrastructure for apps, raised $60m in Series C funding.

The round was led by Playground Ventures with participation from New Enterprise Associates, Founders Fund, Pear Ventures, Samsung Ventures, Madrona Ventures, Cowboy Ventures and Ben Narasin.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the adoption of its deep linking platform to improve the mobile experience and unify marketing attribution across channels, devices and platforms.

Led by Alex Austin, CEO and co-founder, Branch provides a mobile linking platform that enables companies to drive app growth and engagement across channels and platforms. The solution offers a holistic view of various user touch points and ensures that links take the user to the right place on the website or native app. Branch is used by over 23,000 brands including Airbnb, Pinterest, SeatGeek, and Slack.
