Beamery Raises $5M in Funding

Beamery, a London, UK-based provider of recruiting software, raised $5m in funding.

The round was led by Index Ventures with participation from Edenred Capital Partners, GP Ventures and LocalGlobe.

The company intends to use the funds to double its staff, opening a new sales office in San Francisco and enhance the product development and engineering team who will remain in the UK.

Founded by brothers Abakar and Sultan Saidov in 2014, Beamery provides recruiting software that combines AI technology with elements of CRM and marketing software to automate manual procedures and provide data insights to improve the hiring process by turning recruiting from a reactive to a proactive function focused on continuous relationship building with top candidates.
Customers include some of the world’s biggest tech companies, retailers and consumer businesses including Facebook, Dropbox, Criteo, Github and VMware, as well as House of Fraser, Shop Direct and Dennis Publishing.
