The Glue, a Brussels, Belgium-based fintech provider of a mobile and digital infrastructure for financial institutions, closed a €5m venture capital funding round.
The round was led by Polytech Ecosystem Ventures with participation from existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its client base with a focus on Europe and the US and continue to invest in its software solution.
Co-founded by Jürgen Ingels and Stefan Dierckx, Glue (via a team of 50 software engineers) has developed an international infrastructure that allows financial institutions and insurance companies to become active players in the mobile and digital landscape. The solution combines front-end channels and API-ecosystems to existing banking systems to support the creation of new products and offerings.
