Nutrivend, a Llantrisant, Wales, UK-based sports nutrition company, closed a £650k funding.
Backers included Finance Wales and a xénos business angel.
The company intends to use the funds to to recruit new staff, expand storage facilities and ramp up sales of new vending machines to its customer base.
Set up in 2012 and led by Former Welsh rugby stars Scott Morgan and Barry Davies, Nutrivend provides gyms across the UK with vending machines stocking a range of branded sports nutrition items for clients such as The Gym Group andXercise4less.
The company, which has a staff of 16 jobs at its Llantrisant offices, expect to turnover £3m this year.
