Petra Weslien, a former HR manager at iZettle, is to join Swedish venture capital firm Almi Invest.
She will take the new role of Head of Talent with focus on talent and recruitment issues, both in the investment process and portfolio companies, as well as to develop Almi Invest networking among relevant actors.
Petra Weslien, who is a lawyer, has been the HR Director and member of the management team at iZettle since 2015. Before that, she worked as a recruiter at Novare Executive Search. She also ran her own business in the travel industry and worked as a lawyer and the EU in charge of the Foreign Ministry and the then Immigration Board.
Weslien begins to work at Almi Invest May 15.
