Flat6Labs Beirut Launches $20M Lebanon Seed Fund

lebanonFlat6Labs Beirut, a partnership between regional startup accelerator program Flat6Labs and region web and mobile sector growth organization ArabNet, has launched a $20M early stage fund.

Managed by Flat6Labs Beirut and approved by Banque du Liban (Circular 331), Lebanon Seed Fund (LSF) aims to support 100 Lebanese startups working in innovation-based and knowledge-driven industries over the next five years.
Investment areas include information and communications technology (ICT), electronics, manufacturing solutions, green technologies, health, education, energy, transport and financial services.

Startups taking part in the seed stage program will receive an investment ticket size of $30k to $50k and go through a 16-week mentorship-driven seed program, while early stage startups will receive $100k to $500k as well as access to Flat6Labs Beirut’s resources and operational guidance to scale.

Flat6Labs Beirut is now accepting applications for both the startup seed program and the early stage fund on www.flat6labsbeirut.com.
