Conferize, a Danish tech event platform, raised USD$2.4M in funding.
The round was led by Allan Søgaard Larsen and Lars Kolind. With the investment, Allan Søgaard Larsen steps in as President of the Board of Conferize.
The company intends to use the funds to expand the business globally.
Founded in 2012 by CEO Martin Ferro-Thomsen, Conferize offers a cloud-based event management system, which enables event organizers to organize their events whilst providing attendees with new digital ways of sharing knowledge and building communities around the events.
Up until now, event organizers from over 120 countries around the world have used the platform.
