BrickVest Raises £2m in Angel Funding

brickvestBrickVest, a London, UK-based online real estate investment platform, held a £2m first closing a part of its second fundraising round.

Backers include a list of 44 real estate, finance and tech industry angel investors. Jean Romain Lhomme, the former co-head of Colony Capital was among them and joined the BrickVest Board.

The company, which announced its intention to increase this fundraising by an additional £2m, intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Launched 12 months ago and led by Emmanuel Lumineau, CEO, BrickVest has built an online crowd investing platform that allows its community of 2,350 international members to invest directly in institutional grade commercial real estate investment opportunities from a low minimum amount.
The company has a community of 200 international real estate sponsors with Euro 170bn of assets under management, including M7 real estate, Aerium, Corestate, Thor Equity and Venn partners.
BrickVest, which has gained a Full-scope AIFM license, is working on a number of complementary new initiatives, tailored for family offices and small institutional investors looking to access real estate club deals and enhance their liquidity.
