AliveCor Raises $30M in Series D Funding

alivecorAliveCor, a Mountain View, California-based provider of FDA-cleared mobile electrocardiogram technology, raised $30m in Series D funding.

The round was led by Omron Healthcare, with participation from Mayo Clinic and existing inside investors.

The company will use the capital to accelerate innovations in heart health and continue the expansion of the business.

Led by Vic Gundotra, CEO, AliveCor has launched Kardia Pro, an artificial intelligence-enabled platform for doctors to monitor patients for the early detection of atrial fibrillation, the most common cardiac arrhythmia that leads to a five times greater risk of stroke.
The platform tracks important measures of physiology like weight, activity and blood pressure, and, creates a personal heart profile for each user, enabling user identification.
