Vanedge Capital Partners Ltd, a Vancouver, Canada-based early-stage venture capital firm, closed its latest fund, at $161m.
Limited partners included HarbourVest Partners, BDC Capital, Export Development Canada, Kensington Capital, Nicola Wealth Management and the BC Tech Fund, and numerous individual investors and family offices.
Vanedge Capital II Limited Partnership will invest in US and Canada-based startups working at the technology inflection points in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cyber security, SaaS and digital media.
Beyond capital, the firm also provides a combination of operating leadership and management; subject matter expertise; relationships with technology, creative, and management talent.
