Lorenzo Vinci, a Milan, Italy-based e-commerce platform for Made in Italy food, closed €550k in funding.
Private investors participated in the round via BacktoWork24, SiamoSoci and Nana Bianca.
The company intends to use the funds to increase their sales in Italy and develop private label products.
Led by Federico Pastre and Walfredo Della Gherardesca, Lorenzo Vinci enables niche and small producers to open a new online sales channel and connect to consumers. The company, accelerated within Nana Bianca, also creates digital content including articles, recipes, videos, to help producers reach customers online. The platform currently features 40k products from over 400 companies, and 150k subscribers to the platform, which have resulted in 11k orders.
