HackerOne Raises $40M in Series C Funding

hackeroneHackerOne, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a bug bounty and vulnerability disclosure platform, raised $40m in Series C funding.

The round was led by Dragoneer Investment Group.

The company will use the new funds to invest further in technology development, expand market reach, and continue to strengthen its diverse hacker community.

Led by Marten Mickos, CEO, HackerOne provides a bug bounty and vulnerability disclosure platform adopted by more than 100,000 hackers to enable software-powered organizations across government, healthcare, technology, retail, automotive, gaming and travel to to find critical software vulnerabilities before criminals can exploit them.
Customers include Airbnb, CloudFlare, General Motors, GitHub, New Relic, Nintendo, Qualcomm, Starbucks and Uber.

The company also has offices in Seattle, Los Angeles, North Carolina and the Netherlands.
