Frontier Tech Ventures, a San Francisco, CA-based venture capital firm, has added Craig Hordlow to lead its marketing and communications.
Hordlow is a marketing strategy veteran, having created and managed marketing and communications strategies for many big brands, including Adobe Systems, American Express, Conde Nast, and Hearst.
He was the co-founder and Chief Strategist of digital marketing agency Red Bricks Media.
Hordlow will report directly to CEO Mike Rothenberg
Fka Rothenberg Ventures, Frontier Tech Ventures is an investment firm focused on early stage companies in frontier tech in such areas as virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, robotics, drones, space, next generation hardware, and IoT.
In 2014, the firm launched River, an accelerator dedicated to virtual and augmented reality startups, which was later expanded to all frontier technology categories.
Portfolio companies include 1-Page, AltspaceVR, Andela, Dronebase, FOVE, Luxe, Matterport, Reaction Housing, Revel Systems, Robinhood and SOLS.
