Enersize, a Ulvila, Finland-based proprietary software platform for data acquisition and analysis for compressed air efficiency management, received an investment from Scania’s corporate venture capital fund Scania Growth Capital.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Enersize’s solution will help Scania reduce energy consumption at its industrial facilities and service workshops.
Led by Christian Merheim, Chairman, Enersize provides proprietary software for data acquisition and analysis achieving energy savings in industrial compressed air systems. The company shares the energy savings with the customer, which does not need to pay anything for the solution but merely shares the revenue from the savings achieved. Existing customers include one of the world’s largest flat-screen manufacturers and producers of vehicles and steel.
The company has a development office in Lund, Sweden.
