Show My Homework Raises £2.4M in Seed Funding

showmyhomeworkSatchel, the London, UK-based startup behind the edtech platform Show My Homework, raised an additional £2.4m in seed funding.

The round was led by venture capital firm LocalGlobe.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and market expansion outside of the UK.

Created by former assistant head teacher Naimish Gohil, Show My Homework is an innovative platform for secondary schools which allows teachers to set, grade and monitor homework, while keeping parents informed of their child’s progress
The platform, which is available on a laptop, desktop, tablet or smartphone, is used by 1,500 schools around the world, in the UK, China, New Zealand and the United Arab Emirates.

Satchel, which already employs over 80 people in its offices close to the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, also plans to open an office in Dubai early next year, where its brand is already known to many teachers and schools in the region.
