Share Rocket, a NYC-based social media ratings and audience measurement platform for broadcast media, secured $5m in Series A round of funding.
The round was led by Tribune Media, with participation from Fox Television Stations and Capitol Broadcasting.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Led by Chris Kraft, CEO, Share Rocket provides broadcasters and digital publishers with a platform to quantify their social media equity, benchmarked against their peers. The solution gives management teams and newsrooms insights into who is going well on the social media landscape in real-time, as well as daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly scorecards.
