Papèm, a Milan and Palermo, Italy-based provider of an app connecting the online and the physical store, raised €430k in angel funding.
Backers include undisclosed business angels.
The company intends to use the funds to double the team of ten, expand into new cities and implement new funcitons.
Led by Alberto Lo Bue, Carlo Alberto Lipari and Roberto Pirrone, Papèm provides an iOS and Android app enabling users to find geo-localized info on products in physical stores around them, discover exclusive promotions reserved to the community, interact with brands, and be rewarded with points and prizes when visiting partner stores.
The app is currently used by over 20k users (with a 20% MoM growth) who interact with 200 stores and brands including Brooks Brothers, PVH, Diesel, Mandarina Duck, Alberto Guardiani, and Camicissima.
