MobileCause, a Los Angeles, CA-based digital fundraising and communications platform for nonprofits, raised $15m in Series B funding.
The round led by Level Equity, a technology-focused growth equity firm based in NYC. In conjunction with the funding, Level Equity founder and partner Sarah Sommer also joined MobileCause’s board of directors.
The company will use the capital accelerate product development for its cloud fundraising platform and expand efforts in sales, customer success, and marketing.
Led by Sean MacNeill, CEO, MobileCause provides charitable and nonprofit organizations with mobile and online fundraising and communication software featuring customizable, mobile-friendly solutions including crowdfunding and peer-to-peer fundraising, online giving, event fundraising, advocacy, mobile communication, and full merchant services.
MobileCause’s solutions are used by thousands of nonprofit organizations including United Way, The Salvation Army, American Heart Association, University of Southern California, Habitat for Humanity, etc.
