Sudden Coffee Raises $2.7m in Seed Funding

sudden_coffeeSudden Coffee, a San Francisco, CA-based company pioneering a “no-brew” coffee experience of the future, raised $2.7m in seed funding.

The round was led by Charles River Ventures (CRV), which joined existing backers Founder Collective, Lifeline Ventures, and a group of angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.

Co-founded Barista Champion Kalle Freese and former McKinsey & Breadcrumb/Groupon alum Joshua Zloof, Sudden Coffee Sudden buys coffee from farmers and roasters they know and trust, turns beans into instant coffee and deliver it all over the world.
