RSK Group Raises £10M in Funding

rskRSK Group plc, a Cheshire, UK-based global environmental, health, safety and engineering services company, raised £10m in funding.

Business Growth Fund (BGF) made the investment. In conjunction with the funding, Ben Barker of BGF joined the RSK board.

The company intends to use the funds to acquire agricultural and environmental consultancy ADAS and expand its long-term growth plans.

Founded in 1989 by CEO Dr Alan Ryder, RSK is an environmental, health, safety and engineering services consultancy which provides environmental impact assessments, clean-up operations and geotechnical analysis on major infrastructure projects in the UK and worldwide.
The company, which works with clients such as Shell, Taylor Wimpey, and HS2 Limited, among others, has a turnover of more than £100m and employs more 1500 staff worldwide.

The acquisition of the business, operating assets and employees engaged in ADAS UK Ltd will add new services to its portfolio, including expertise in land management, crop and food production, specialist chemical risk assessment and town planning.
