NewGen Capital, a Palo Alto, CA-based early-stage venture capital firm, has launched a €75m second fund.
According to a regulatory form filed with the SEC, NewGen Capital II, L.P. has not raised funds, yet.
Led by Lu Zhang and and Homan Yuen, NewGen Capital invests in the Seed to Series A rounds of startups building globally disruptive, transformative technologies and business models in such investment verticals as include mobile internet, e-commerce, IoT, security, medical devices, and digital health.
To support backed companies’ growth, the firm leverages the team’s connections into and knowledge of Asian markets.
Portfolio startups include Agridata, Ampy, Bluefox, Bolstr, CodeSpark, Cuseum, Eucled, Naya, Paperspace, Paradromics, Roost, Tradezby, Trance, ZeroDB, etc.
