Inkling Raises $25m in Series E Funding Round

inklingInkling, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of mobile communications platform for deskless workers, raised $25m in Series E funding round.

The round was led by Sapphire Ventures with participation from current investors Sequoia Capital and Tenaya Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Nino Marakovic, CEO and managing director of Sapphire Ventures, will join Inkling’s board of directors.

The company, which has raised $95m in total funding to date, will use the new funding to expand its product and sales efforts globally.

Founded in 2009 and led by Matt MacInnis, CEO, Inkling lets enterprises communicate with deskless workers and enables measurement of employee engagement and compliance via real-time updates and built-in analytics. Companies use Inkling to convey mission critical information via video, interactive images, dynamic documents, and/or alerts.
Customers include organizations in the insurance, retail, restaurant, pharmaceutical, energy, and manufacturing industries.
